ARTIST INSIGHTS
How are your background and life experiences connected to your art?
During my childhood, my father had a great influence on my personality. He was a gifted man, very talented in arts and crafts that have touchpoints with sculpture. He was constantly buying machines for processing and profiling various materials. I was often by his side and helped him at times, so as a child I gained significant experience in working with various materials that later significantly helped me in defining my sculptural expression.
Who are some of your biggest artistic influences?
My artistic influences mainly came from the ranks of expressionism and postmodernism.
How have you developed your artist career?
After completing my graduate studies, I participated in various art exhibitions, especially focusing my efforts to organize as many solo exhibitions as possible. I considered it equally important to participate in national and international art symposiums, through which I made many networking connections with gallerists, art collectors and artists from all parts of the world.
What does your artistic work intend to communicate to its audience?
In the early phase of my career, my artistic energy gravitated toward current events through figural forms. More recently, I have been focused on artistic and aesthetic content.
Does your work comment on any current social or political issues?
No, my current works tend to reference timeless qualities and values.
What is one thing you would like your audience to know about you?
I have a wonderful family and two successful children and that my art is a reflection of who I am.
Which current art world trends are you following?
I do not necessarily follow any particular trend. Rather, I am an observer of all current trends/developments. My creative pieces are mostly my personal expression of how I view what I see.
Why have you chosen to sell your work in the 1515 Lincoln Gallery?
1515 Lincoln Gallery has a very good reputation. 1515 Lincoln Gallery is professionally managed and adheres to the same high standards which I set for myself.

ARTIST STATEMENT
The process I use for creating sculptures is unique. In my works, I give the priority to the visual, although symbolism is also important. I try to bring these two elements into harmony and thus guide the observer toward my vision, with some observers also being impacted by the aesthetic quality. When creating sculptures, I mainly use an autogenic flame injection apparatus. This process enables me to heat the chosen surfaces of the sculpture and shape the mass as needed and obtain details by the use of specific tools.
