“I believe that art can be a powerful tool for communication and I hope that my works can change or inspire at least one person.”

BIOGRAPHY

My childhood was filled with adventures, travels and parental support. From an early age, my inclination for drawing manifested. However, in our small town near the capital of Ukraine, there were no specialized educational institutions, so I didn't have the opportunity for specialized art education. During my childhood, I spent a lot of time with watercolors, appreciating their transparency. In my youth, I independently transitioned to oil paints and canvas. In 2010, I started painting on suede, then switched to artificial suede out of spiritual connection to animals. All my paintings were successfully sold among acquaintances. They can be found in private collections in the USA, Canada, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Germany. In 2019, during quarantine, I decided to showcase my work for the first time at an exhibition in Kyiv, Ukraine. Having gained new experiences, new acquaintances, new motivations - I no longer stop.

In my personal life, I have a large family, children and a beloved husband who supports me in everything. Fate has given me heart problems since childhood, but that never stopped me. I professionally engaged in swimming and participated in competitions; I love cycling and covered 100 km in 5 hours. After the birth of my third child, I started running and participating in races. Over three years, I officially completed 38 half-marathons. Most of my life, I've been practicing yoga and hold a coaching diploma; I love hiking in the mountains, conquering peaks both in summer and winter. This beauty transforms into new paintings, which I eagerly share with audiences.

War in Ukraine and its impact on me have been profoundly significant. Living in a region marked by conflict, I witnessed firsthand the consequences of destruction and chaos it brings. Persistent fear, uncertainty and losses have left a mark on my psyche, shaping my outlook on life and the world around me. The scars of war run deep, leaving behind a legacy of trauma. War has taught me to value peace, resilience and the strength of the human spirit. Despite the hardships, I have resolved to contribute to building a better future, where conflicts are replaced by harmony and understanding.

ARTIST INSIGHTS

How are your background and life experiences connected to your art?

I lack formal art education but dedicated much time to self-learning in childhood and daily painting practice. As an adult, I attended numerous art workshops, including sculpture and graphic art.

Who are some of your biggest artistic influences?

From childhood, I adored the works of Van Gogh, taking inspiration from his lack of formal education yet ability to create a vast legacy of unique pieces. Over time, I became interested in other prominent artists, drawing inspiration from the works of Claude Monet.

How have you developed your artist career?

My artistic career began in childhood when I discovered the world of painting and creativity. Without formal education in this field, I devoted much time to self-education and practice. Over time, my passion turned into a professional interest, and I began actively attending workshops, studying techniques of famous artists to develop my own style and skills. Now I continue to experiment, improving my skills and creating new works that reflect my artistic journey and development. Since 2019, I have also been actively participating in various art contests and exhibitions, where I have the opportunity to showcase my works and communicate with other creative personalities. This allows me not only to demonstrate my talent and abilities but also to constantly develop, gain new experience, and find inspiration for future creations.

What does your artistic work intend to communicate to its audience?

My artistic works strive to evoke emotions and thoughts in the viewer, prompting them to contemplate the perception of the positive world. I aim to convey the depth of feelings, the beauty of the surrounding environment, and the inner world of human emotions. Each of my works contains an element of empathy, aimed at establishing a connection with the viewer, as well as their own uniqueness and individuality. I want my paintings to stimulate dialogue, open up new perspectives, and inspire reflection.

Does your work comment on any current social or political issues?

No, my artwork typically does not comment on specific social or political issues. I am more focused on conveying emotions, impressions, and inner experiences through art rather than expressing specific political or social views.

What is one thing you would like your audience to know about you?

I wish my audience to know that each of my artworks reflects not only my own emotions and feelings but also inspires contemplation and new perceptions of the world. I always keep up with the developments in the art industry and strive to remain open to new ideas and techniques.

Which current art world trends are you following?

The modern art world is constantly changing and evolving, and I always keep track of the latest trends. One such trend is the use of technology in art, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, which allows artists to create unique works and interactive immersive experiences for their audience. Additionally, the collaboration between art and science, as well as interest in environmental and social justice issues, are also becoming increasingly popular topics among contemporary artists.

Why have you chosen to sell your work in the 1515 Lincoln Gallery?

The gallery is renowned for its ability to represent talented artists and promote their work in the art market. Their values align with my vision of a quality and professional platform for exhibiting my pieces, making collaboration with 1515 Lincoln my top choice.

What do you believe makes 1515 Lincoln Gallery distinct from other galleries?

Their values align with my vision of a quality and professional platform for exhibiting my works, making collaboration with 1515 Lincoln a top choice for me.
