ARTIST INSIGHTS
How are your background and life experiences connected to your art?
Through my background experience, I always say that in the art world there is always something new to see or to hear. I put myself always in front of a new opportunity to learn from someone or to show someone what I saw and learned from somewhere.
Who are some of your biggest artistic influences?
Piet Mondrian, Mark Rothko, Kazimir Malevich.
How have you developed your artist career?
Throughout artist residencies, I came to develop and learn a lot from new professors and colleagues around me. I would say also traveling or sending your artwork to some group international exhibition can set a good mark on your career in the art world. I saw many exhibitions that had an effect on me, for example in Berlin and in Florance, I saw some incredible exhibitions and collections of artwork.
What does your artistic work intend to communicate to its audience?
My artwork can communicate through a thought process that people react to or feel when they see my compositions in abstract colors, shapes, and contrast of textures on them.
Does your work comment on any current social or political issues?
No, I don't usually mix social and political issues in my artwork. There are some printmakers that use social or political signs in past or in some critical time period, for me, it's good to see how they give their prints a symbol of reminder in some context in printmaking techniques.
What is one thing you would like your audience to know about you?
Very friendly and open to new possibilities.
Why have you chosen to sell your work in the 1515 Lincoln Gallery?
Thanks to 1515 Lincoln Gallery I can send my artwork to the USA and have a chance to exhibit them and be seen through their platforms and art exhibitions. Also, it was a goal for the past two years to come to the USA and try to see some galleries that would like to exhibit my art, that's why I'm thankful for Susan McClamont for choosing my artwork.
What do you believe makes 1515 Lincoln Gallery distinct from other galleries?
It's very important when someone is trying their best for promoting art and being well organized, as an artist I think that is the most positive side of the gallery.
ARTIST STATEMENT
The composition is the source of my inspiration To compose a composition or put it all together in an arrangement of various artistic parts in one whole composition and it's always a challenge. The composition as a term in fine arts notes the structure that they create together in artistic element in their interrelation. My relation in the compositions put together was always to see the reaction and response of the viewer and seek the answers they find in my artwork and what triggers them to think of some object or person in the composition, or even a story. Artwork in my opinion needs to be in a conventional relationship with a viewer. My inspiration was always found in theories of constructivism and the neoplasticism era of art, like in Piet Mondrian and Kazmir Malevich's artworks. Also being a printmaker I had a chance to visit other universities and see from other professors how they teach and approach printmaking techniques. It's always good motivation when you see and experience something new in different environments and I always try to use it and express it on my prints. My compositions were always brought with inspiration around me, usually, I recycle used materials in printmaking workshops and put them together in some shape, color, and in contrast to materials. My art style gives a purpose of some not often used technique in a new way that people can react and interact with it.
