BIOGRAPHY

John Wolfe was born in Vernon Texas' August 23, 1947. He attended public school in Davidson Oklahoma and graduated from Southwestern Okla. State University in 1970 with a degree in Art Education. He completed his M. Ed. at the University of Central Oklahoma in 1976. John taught art in the Midwest City-Del City school system for 35 years and was an adjunct at Rose State College in Midwest City Oklahoma and Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. John's work has been exhibited extensively across Oklahoma and the surrounding region. Adept at working in several media including painting, assemblages and sculptural forms. His work often incorporates found objects.

The environment.

How have you developed your artist career?

Persistence.

What does your artistic work intend to communicate to its audience?

All I want to achieve is a response, an emotion, a reaction.

On occasion.

What is one thing you would like your audience to know about you?

I work hard at what I do.
