Shanks Family Tradition
1515 Lincoln Gallery is proud to present Shanks Family Tradition, a stunning exhibition on view from September 10 to 26. Curated by gallery artist Chris Brizzard, the exhibition celebrates the enduring legacy of renowned realist painter Nelson Shanks through works by his children, Annalisa and Alexander Shanks, alongside fellow Studio Incamminati artist Stephen Bush. Together, their paintings reflect a shared commitment to craftsmanship, direct observation, strong drawing, and the expressive use of color, principles passed from one generation of artists to the next.
Master the Art of Portraiture: Two-Day Studio Incamminati Workshop
Calling all artists! 1515 Lincoln Gallery invites you to Mastering the Portrait, an immersive two-day workshop at the gallery on September 12 and 13. Taught by faculty from Philadelphia's prestigious Studio Incamminati, you’ll learn to create expressive, realistic portraits through live demonstrations, observation, and personalized instruction.
