Matt Goad

Oklahoma native Matt Goad began creating as a graphic designer and illustrator in the mid-90s. The ancient East Asian block printing technique strongly influenced the contemporary painting style he developed a decade later. Goad loves color, structure, and telling an engaging story. His distinct and ordered approach thrusts viewers into a flowing narrative told through the careful arrangement of vivid color and salient imagery.

Growing up, Goad's family moved incessantly across the United States before settling in the Southwest desert. His diverse upbringing offered a rare view of America's brilliant nature and diverse cultures. For Goad, art helps him discover order and engage in a therapeutic release. Numerous art and design publications, websites, and documentary films have featured Goad, and his work is currently held in public and private collections worldwide.
