Matt Seikel, Roger runge & Sheridan Conrad

This December, 1515 Lincoln Gallery will host a series of Holiday Pop-Up events with three of the Gallery’s consigned Oklahoma artists. The Pop-Ups will be held each Saturday in December from 1 – 3 p.m., beginning December 9th.  Each Saturday presents the perfect opportunity to purchase an invaluable, one-of-a-kind work of art for loved ones while supporting Oklahoma City's rich artistic community.

Matt Seikel | Ceramic Artist | December 9th | 1-3 P.M.

Matt Seikel is an Oklahoma native who creates unique handmade ceramics with wild clay.

Matt first studied ceramics at the Classen School of Advanced Studies and then attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Matt has lived in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Alabama, and New Mexico. In Abiquiu, New Mexico, Matt started his ceramics business and became fascinated with discovering wild clay and glazes in the natural landscape to make his pottery. He creates one-of-a-kind fixtures and vessels to bring the rich, raw beauty of ceramics into the home. Each of Matt's innovative pottery vessels is unique, combining organic and traditional practices with contemporary and inventive styles.

Roger Runge | Ceramic Artist | December 16th | 1-3 P.M.

Roger Runge is a landscape designer and artist passionate about pottery and plants. Growing up in a family of painters and planters, it is no surprise that Roger's beautiful Oklahoma City landscape designs capture a blend of artistry and horticulture. Roger studied ceramic design at the University of Oklahoma. He mastered various creative skills and went on to teach pottery, manage a craft center, work for a nonprofit, and launch a publishing business. In 2002, Roger discovered his love for landscape design and has since built up a thriving company, Garden Design Associates, incorporating his passion for art and gardening. After a 40-year hiatus, Roger has returned to his first love, pottery, with classically-inspired vessel forms exploring the relationship between human creativity and the organic growth of the natural world. Be sure not to miss this exclusive opportunity to purchase Roger’s pottery.  The last time he had a pop-up sale, he sold out!

Sheridan Conrad | Jewelry Art Designer | December 23rd | 1-3 P.M.

Sheridan Conrad is a jewelry designer who makes one-of-a-kind wearable works of art. While studying architecture at the University of Arkansas, Sheridan took a jewelry class and fell in love with the craft, shifting her studies to become a jewelry designer. Sheridan grew up in Oklahoma, and her close connection to the state's natural landscapes influenced her jewelry style. Traveling has also influenced Sheridan's artistic approach, such as a trip to Italy, where she studied ancient jewelry techniques. Since 2017, Sheridan has devoted all her time to making jewelry, combining ancient metalsmithing techniques with homemade custom tools to produce unique modern jewelry.

We are excited to have these three incredibly talented artists at 1515 Lincoln Gallery’s holiday pop-up events this year and to help you find that one-of-a-kind Christmas gift!
