THE MONTREAL EXPERIENCE

Montreal, an arts-centric city known for its world-class university art programs, galleries, and museums, served as the perfect backdrop for our cultural journey. Participants walked along historic cobblestone streets, experienced internationally renowned architecture, and enjoyed incredible cuisine — all while engaging deeply with contemporary art and cultural exchange.

The group stayed at the iconic Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, famously known as the site of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s bed-in for peace. The hotel is now home to a permanent art collection featuring 123 works by thirty-seven contemporary Canadian artists.

A highlight of the trip was the private visit to Demetrios Papakostas' studio, where attendees viewed his latest works and learned about his process. The experience also included a visit to Galerie ERGA, a space where emerging and established Montreal artists showcase their work.
