Join Sean Ferneau, Director of the Otto Neumann Collection, for an exclusive Curator Talk on Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Gallery. Through stories from his work preserving and building awareness of Neumann’s legacy, Ferneau will explore the German printmaker’s distinctive use of bold lines, rich colors, and expressive shapes to reveal the heart of the human form. The intimate talk will also highlight important works in the Otto Neumann: Modern Artist exhibition, including rare pieces from Neumann’s highly sought-after Horse & Rider series of the 1950s and selections from his work of the 1960s. The audience will gain a deeper appreciation for an artist whose work is held by more than 30 institutions worldwide and whose questions about how we perceive the world remain as relevant today as when the works were created.
