What led you to become an artist?

When I was 10, my mother noticed that I loved to paint. She asked if I wanted to join a painting class, and that was the beginning of my journey. I enjoyed it so much that I eventually went to art school, and that's how I became an artist.

Can you describe a typical day or routine in your studio?

I usually start in the studio around 11 am. I work for about 3 hours, take a break, then continue painting for another 2-3 hours. At the end of the day, I clean my brushes, palette, and studio to get ready for the next session.

How would you describe your artistic style?

I would describe my style as expressive realism. I aim to capture not just the likeness of the model or photo, but the essence and emotion behind it.

What materials and techniques do you prefer to work with, and why?

I enjoy experimenting with various materials and techniques, but I usually prefer oil for painting. Oil paints allow me to achieve rich texture and depth.

How do you approach color and composition in your paintings?

When I begin a painting, I focus on the composition right from the start. With color, I often work intuitively at first, letting it flow naturally. As I progress, I bring in more control and carefully consider color combinations.

Is there any advice you would give to aspiring painters based on your experiences?

My advice to aspiring artists is to keep experimenting and don't be afraid of mistakes.

What themes or subjects inspire your artwork the most?

My life experiences have always inspired my art. Right now, with everything happening in the Middle East, I feel a strong desire to convey a message of peace, love, and the beauty of nature on my canvas.

Are there any particular artists or movements that have influenced your work?

I'm deeply inspired by the works of Lucian Freud, Edward Hopper, and Euan Uglow.

How do you stay motivated and engaged in your work?

I stay motivated by setting goals for each piece I create. I make sure to evaluate my progress and judge whether I've achieved what I set out to do. This helps keep me focused and engaged in my work.

How has this latest series contributed to your artistic growth or perspective?

I focused on capturing the essence of the subject through free, expressive brushstrokes. It has helped me push my boundaries and approach my work with more spontaneity and freedom.
