ABOUT DANNY ROSE

Regularly inspired by natural colors and forms, Danny Joe Rose III is an artist who creates bold, abstract works. He explores the meditative process of drawing and painting to illicit memories of the natural world and his desire to connect with it.

Rose has exhibited in group and solo shows nationally, internationally, and locally in Oklahoma. He has taught at the Oklahoma City University School of the Visual Arts and Chandra Kumala School. Rose was an artist-in-residence at The Guapamacátaro Center for Art and Ecology, Artspace at Untitled, The Moon Mansion Dallas, The Paseo Plunge, and Oklahoma City University.

Rose holds a BFA from the Art Institute of Dallas and currently teaches at Oklahoma Contemporary.
