ABOUT Paul Micich

Paul Micich is an artist, illustrator, and musician currently based in Iowa. He typically creates surreal narrative paintings of people who are dreamers. In his band World Port, Micich makes original music, inspired by melodies and rhythms from around the world.

Over the years, Micich has created illustrations for The Atlantic Monthly, Campbell’s Soup, Sony Records, Macy’s, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and Meredith Corps, among numerous other companies and organizations.

Micich has illustrated books including “The Littlest Angel,” “She Taught Me to Eat Artichockes,” “The Memory Box,” and “Rhythm of the Seasons.”

He has received several awards from various organizations including the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, National Addy Awards Competition, and the Art Directors Association of Iowa. His work has been featured in Communication Arts magazine, the Society of Illustrators (New York), and Spectrum International Annual for Fantastic Art.
