Discover the art of printmaking with Oklahoma artist Rick Sinnett during Art for the People, an interactive talk at 1515 Lincoln Gallery on Saturday, November 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. Known widely as Mothman, Sinnett will share his background, creative process, and examples of the bold, nature-inspired work that has made him a recognizable presence in Oklahoma’s art community. During the event, guests can ask questions, watch Sinnett create a fine art print, and participate in the printing process. Each participant will leave with their own hand-pulled print to take home. Registration is $65. To reserve your place, call 405-593-1063 or email events@1515lg.com.
About Rick Sinnett
Rick Sinnett is a self-taught muralist, printmaker, and visual folk artist whose work reflects his “art for the people” philosophy. A native of Mustang, Oklahoma, he draws inspiration from nature, often incorporating symbols such as the scissor-tailed flycatcher and monarch butterfly.
Sinnett has spent decades creating hand-pulled fine art prints, posters, and collectible works. His printmaking background also informs his large-scale public murals throughout Oklahoma and along historic Route 66.
