Poetry House at 1515 Lincoln Gallery featuring Scott LaMascus

  • 1515 Lincoln Gallery 1515 North Lincoln Boulevard Oklahoma City, OK, 73104 United States (map)

Great poetry doesn’t simply ask to be read, but it also invites us into conversation. That’s exactly what we’ll be doing at our monthly Poetry House on Sunday, September 6, from 2 to 3 p.m., as we welcome Oklahoma City writer, educator, and public humanities advocate Scott LaMascus for an afternoon of live readings and thoughtful discussion.

LaMascus's debut collection, Let Other Hounds: Poems Breaking Silence Fifty Years After Sexual Abuse At Church, was long listed for the Idaho Prize for Poetry and reflects his commitment to exploring difficult topics with honesty and hope. Whether you come to hear a featured poet, discover new voices, or simply enjoy an hour of creativity in the gallery, Poetry House offers a welcoming space to pause and connect.

Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase from the 1515 Bistro during the program. Seating is limited, so reserve your place by calling 405-593-1063 or emailing info@1515lg.com.
